Ingredients:
- 1 box brownie mix
- 24 Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon mint extract
- Green food coloring optional
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish
Prepare brownie mix according to package instructions, substituting water with melted butter and adding mint extract and food coloring if desired
Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly
Arrange Oreo cookies in a single layer on top of the brownie batter
Pour the remaining brownie batter over the Oreos, covering them completely
Sprinkle chocolate chips on top
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs
Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares
